This house was probably the best I’ve stayed in as far as vacation rentals go. I was there with my 2 boys,( 6 and 8) and our goldendoodle Leo. The pride of ownership is evident. The owners are great at communication and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Very clean and well organized house with details on how to work every appliance in the house.

The neighborhood is very safe and super cute. I often sat on the yellow chairs in the front of the house and watched my boys play. The location can’t be beat. You are central to everything. My boys and I rode our bikes downtown often. There is a dog park a few blocks away or another park (Spring Canyon) that is about a 10 minute drive which has plenty of bike trails and a more extensive dog park. We really enjoyed our time in Ft. Collins hiking and biking.

Estes Park is about 1.5 hours away which we visitied for a few days. Highly recommend! All in all, I would recommend staying here and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Another plus, the house has AC, which was fantastic considering most homes in the area did not have air conditioning. Also, there is a washer and dryer which is another plus. Great house, great stay!

We stayed here for a month this summer and were so comfortable! Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard and we enjoyed having her in a safely contained yard. The kitchen is the most well stocked of any VRBO in which we have stayed. Comfortable furniture, nice T.V., and it was great having the attached garage for our bikes. The bike trails are 3 blocks away and Old Town is about 1.2 miles from the home. Many days we never used our car. Rosemary was so helpful and quick to respond- couldn’t ask for a better host owner. We plan to come back next year for another month. We absolutely loved it here!

Positives: very clean, well-maintained, upgraded appliances, great location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable furnishings, nicely decorated, great communications with the owners.
Negatives: second bedroom is a little tight for two adults (but would be fine for kids), the garage is also a little tight (our Kia just fit).

We stayed at Rosemary and Jim’s place for 32 days in May/June. There were just the 2 of us and our small dog and we were perfectly comfortable and quite happy with everything about our stay. We felt the house was larger than it appeared in the pictures (always a pleasant surprise) , nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings. The master bed was excellent! There was plenty of everything that we needed, including a very well stocked kitchen with quality everything, which we appreciated as we used it everyday. The library of books and DVD’s was also great and we took advantage of many of them. Nice to have a garage -we parked our Kia Sorento and our two bikes in it (altho it was tight). Fenced backyard for our dog, plus nice shade in the afternoon. Even Dave the lawn service guy was great. The location is awesome! Sweet, quiet neighborhood, easy access to bike trails (which were just fantastic, so we used them a ton!) and walking distance (for us) to old town. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone planning a stay in FOCO.

Rosemary and Jim’s home was the perfect fit for my husband and I to explore the Fort Collins area. Their home was well appointed, comfortable and clean as a whistle. We spent lots of time on the quiet, private back patio and enjoyed a cup of morning Joe on the front deck in the inviting bright yellow Adirondack chairs. The house is located in a quiet section of the Historic Neighborhood which is the perfect location for easy access to the charming restaurants and shops of Old Town, grocery stores and the University campus. We would definitely stay at Rosemary and Jim’s home again.

Nice neighborhood, walking was a joy, very close to everything i needed. I previously lived in FC and knew exactly where I wanted to stay. The garage and dog pen were perfect pluses.

We have been renting a home for the Christmas holidays in Fort Collins for the past five years and this rental was, by far, the best choice of all! The house was cozy, clean, well appointed and in a great location. Everything worked well, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook those holiday meals. We were able to walk to stores, downtown and even a small nature area. We are looking forward to our return visit in May!

This property is in a safe, quiet and clean neighborhood. Easy walk to Fort Collins restaurants, shops and CSU. Owners are easy to reach and respond quickly. My husband and I stayed here for 3+ weeks and loved it.

Rosemary is a fantastic, very friendly and responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy, centrally-located home in a very quiet neighborhood. We like to cook our dinner meals rather than dining out. The updated kitchen was well-equipped for making anything we desired. This home has convenient access to I-25, College Ave and the Spring Creek Trail. For entertainment, there is a good DVD assortment and many interesting books. We were able to park our Subaru Forester in the small garage, which was really nice given the snow and cold weather. While this may be an older house, it functions as a newer one while maintaining the charm. We look forward to returning soon.

We feel so lucky to have been able to spend a month in this wonderful home! Everything about the property was perfect! It was clean, comfortable, equipped with everything you might need during your stay, and centrally located so you can easily access all that Fort Collins has to offer!

Absolutely perfect, top to bottom. We were in town to visit our daughter at CSU, bringing our small dogs with us. The house is adorable and filled with art, and every amenity you could possibly need. The fenced yard is well kept and very safe for dogs. The Fall weather was perfect for sitting outside, enjoying the deck. A very nice grill is also available. Location is amazing- quiet neighborhood, and still a short walk/bike/scooter ride to campus or even Old Town. The hosts were exceptional- very communicative and available for any questions. We will absolutely be seeking out this property on our next visit to FoCo!

We stayed at this home for a month while we were in transition and we’re so sad to leave! It has everything you need in a great location, and the house is nice and clean, but very comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend it to anyone who will take good care of it because the home and the owners are wonderful!

We can’t say enough great things about this little gem of a house in University Acres, Fort Collins. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with every kitchen tool, pot, bowl and appliance that one would have in their own home. The home-owner clearly takes great pride in this cozy house and in providing the best hospitality possible. We felt completely comfortable here; it truly was a home away from home.

My husband, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Rosemary and Jim’s cute little house. So many nice touches, like night lights, lots of tissue boxes around the house, tons of hangers!, extra pillows, blankets, towels, dish cloths and wash clothes, dog towels for the dog!, interesting art work and choice of books & movies….I could go on and on!! Rosemary was very helpful in welcoming us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Very detailed information about the house. We sat on the patio a lot, as the dog loved it there! We walked the neighborhoods, down to College, over to Prospect and north to Riverview – wonderful, friendly people and interesting properties! Thank you, Rosemary and Jim, for opening your home to us!!!

My daughter and I thought this place was perfect for our week long stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that anyone could need. The beds were so comfortable! Would highly recommend this cute home and would certainly return!

The owners were always available for any questions we had. The house was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with appliances and every gadget you could possibly want. Appliance manuals and the owners typed notebook answering any question you would have about this house. I highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I drove to Fort Collins from Dallas and it began to snow outside of Denver. We were tired after a long drive when we arrived in the evening. Rosemary’s and Jim’s lovely home was just perfect – toasty warm, comfortable bed, and everything we could possibly hope for! Everything was spotless and the kitchen was beyond well-appointed. On top of all that, they have carefully curated a wonderful art collection over the years. Rosemary was extremely helpful and responsive in our communications. We can’t wait to visit again someday – maybe in the spring or summer!
